Activities To Do This Spring

The end of 2022 into the beginning of 2023 has been a record breaking year for snowfall! As much as we appreciate mother nature giving us moisture to help with the affects of drought, we are all getting a little cabin fever. Within the past week we have gotten so much snowfall, with higher temperatures, so flooding has been a bit of an issue. That’s why we are making this post, to give us something to look forward to as the weather slowly gets warmer. We have compiled a few ideas of what to do when the warmer weather hits!

Look out for the new blogpost we will posting in a few weeks, goes over new hobbies you can start, whether you’re on the road or not!

These following ideas are great activities you can do with your family while your traveling or stationary. Spring is a great time to get those gardens started or prepared. If you have a green thumb, you know that about this time, you can start preparing for your summer garden. There are so many ways you can do this. It’s all up to preference. Last year, our park got a seed starter kit and started most of our garden veggies that way. We planted the vegetables that took a little longer than usual or needed a longer growing season. Not only is gardening a great way to get out doors, you get to produce your own food throughout the summer! So we think it’s a great way to start your spring!

That ties into our next idea, picnics! Spring is probably the best time to go on a picnic. It’s not too hot or cold. You can be outside and enjoy the sunshine while having a simple meal. It’s a great activity to explore your area, find a park or go out into the mountains, where there is no distractions. Spending quality time with your significant other, family, or even yourself.

There are a lot of physical activities that can be done during the spring. Just like mentioned above, it’s the perfect time to do things outdoors without the high temperatures. Here at Aspen Grove RV Park we have many things you can do outdoors. One of the most popular is Pickleball. We love seeing our guests outside enjoying the Utah weather. If you aren’t equipped to play, no worries, we have paddle boards and wiffle balls in the office to rent out. We also offer horseshoes, gagaball, ladder ball, and honestly, walking around the park itself is very relaxing and fun. Throughout the Tremonton area, which is where the RV park is located, we have many city parks, and nature trails that are also fun to explore.

The last activity for this post would be golfing. Who doesn’t love golf? Just down the road we do have a 9-hole golf course that is open during the summer

golf. It is semi private course that offers many services. Here is a link to their website! https://skywaycountryclub.com/

We hope you get inspired by these ideas and try them out this coming Spring. We, ourselves, are ready for warmer weather and look forward to doing our favorite Spring activities.
