The Future of RV is EV

There is no denying that Electric Vehicles are on the rise. With technology growing, so are the size of the vehicles. With electric trucks hitting the market, and improving each year, people are turning to the energy efficient vehicle to tow their recreational toys. Leading to a higher demand of EV charging stations throughout the US.

Here, at Aspen Grove Rv Park in Northern Utah, we have been so fortunate to team up with Rivian. Rivian is an inspiring company that’s goal is literally make a better future for our kids, by building electric vehicles that will stand the test of time. Their mission is to protect our planet and the cultures that inhibit it for generations to come. They went on a transcontinental road trip with their state of the art truck, visiting different RV parks. When they arrived, Rivian provided our park with two amazing, state of the art, EV stations. With the growth of going electric on the rise, it is only a matter of time before more travelers are using their electric trucks to tow their campers. Their trucks have a much higher towing capacity than most would think, coming in at 11,000lbs. We are so grateful for this partnership and cannot wait to see the leaps and bounds of progress they will make.

What is our goal with these EV stations? We want to be the stop that provides a good nights rest and a charged vehicle. We have two sites dedicated specifically for EVs and their tow. We hope to expand more and provide even more luxury sites that offer this service.

Not everyone is towing with an EV, but they may be towing one behind their Motorhome. During our busy season, we see more and more guests traveling with a tow vehicle. A lot more travelers are turning to EVs since they are more eco friendly. Not only do we have EV charging stations for trucks, we also offer to other charging stations in our guest parking. These are perfect for Teslas or any other electric vehicle.

We hope as more choose an EV, that Aspen Grove will strive to follow suit and be more aware of the footprint we are leaving behind. By providing this extra service, we show future and potential guests that are looking to purchase an EV, that we are a must stop on their travels. We are excited to see the amazing things that will happen with EVs and look forward to seeing more of them at our park!
