Summer Activities Near Aspen Grove RV Park

We may be located in a small town, but that doesn’t mean we have some fun activities to do within an hours drive! There are even activities just a walk away! We wanted to share a few of our favorite things to do during the summer time.

The RV park has many fun games that you can grab at the front office that are great for family fun. We offer things, such as, Corn hole. A game that has quickly become an activity that many people have come to enjoy. There are even competitions and tournaments.

The park also offers Ladder Ball. Space the game ladders about 15 feet apart and start tossing your bolas. Each player tosses all 3 bolas, then the next player tosses all 3 bolas. The first one to 21 without going over is the winner! The top rung is worth 3 points, middle is 2 and bottom rung is 1 point. You also have the opportunity to cancel out someone’s points or knock their bolas off completely.

The park also offers Horseshoes, Pickle Ball, and gaga ball.

If you are looking to get out of the park, we highly suggest you take some time to drive over to our neighboring city, Logan. Then proceed to head through Logan Canyon. Not only are there many places to camp, hike and explore, you end your drive at the gorgeous Bear Lake. There you can do so many activities. They have an adventure course with a zipline, a rope course, tubing and many more activities right when you enter the Bear Lake area(https://www.blap.rocks/). You cannot go to Bear Lake without trying a Raspberry Ice Cream Shake, they even have “Raspberry Days” the first weekend of August. Other options are Kayaking, fishing, boating, so many different activities to do!

We are lucky to be so near many things that offer fun things to do. Also occurring in August near us, is the Box Elder County Fair. There is a carnival with rides, treats/food, a rodeo, and so much more! You can walk around the fair grounds and view the livestock the 4H showed, as well as, the winners. You have the opportunity to purchase one, which probably isn’t the best idea if you’re on the road. :)

The last thing we wanted to mention was our farmers market here in town! The first year it started was 2022. We hope that it continues in 2023. It was such a great way to see local vendors and purchasing homemade items. It took place on the first weekend of each month.

So if you are worried about what to do during your stay in our small town, we have many activities to do!
